End of September and start of October Challenge!

Not exactly how I thought the Challenge Series would start on its first month.  Maybe the ability word I provided wrought your brains a little too hard.  Well, without further ado, lets us judge the only two people who participated in it.

First off, let us take a look at the individual cards.

I will say this, man; coming up with a souped up version of Suspend was unique. I never thought of having Traverse like that and you came up with a definition approach to it and I like it. At the very least, you put in "your end step" as opposed to "every end step."  That would make it too strong but a well balanced card overall.

First up, using a Blink effect as the effect for Traverse is a cool approach.  What really got me excited is Relic Hunter's first ability; "if you didn't cast it from your hand."  The only downside of the effect is the legendary clause.  Personally, I think you added that word because of the awesome art of Indiana Jones.  May be a clause for a certain CMC and I think you might have something balanced.

Now this one is perfectly balanced with your version of Traverse.  Placed into hand would be a rare, maybe even uncommon. But "onto the battlefield" would send it up to mythic.  Awesome job, Deep!

I guess when someone wishes to prove their ability works, they post 5 cards. For future reference, people, keep it 4 or under; writing analyzed reports for each one is time-consuming and laborious.
Kabira Recruiter: reduce the P/T to 2/2 and it would be better.  After all, a 2/3 uncommon with your Traverse effect?  In my opinion, it just overpowers it just tiny bit.  All in all, a B effort.
Mahosi Peddler: a weaker but blue version of Relic Hunter but it works.  An A- effort.
Sejiri Scout: not bad.  A rare 1 costing 1/1 with your traverse along with unblockable?  Each part is in balance.  Well done.

Since there were only two competitors, choosing a winner was difficult to say the least.
Deepthought42 and Aurgelmir27, you two have done great work and I sure hope you two have abilities to see what others will make of them.
